Woodside Nippers
Nipper Registrations are now closed for the 2022/23 season.
The junior program at North Cottesloe Surf Life Saving Club is full of energetic and passionate children, parents, coaches and volunteers. NCSLSC has over 650 juniors enrolled between the ages of 5 and 17. There is a multitude of options available to our junior competitors including Nippers, competition, patrolling and education courses. The fees for the various categories, and a description, can be found under Membership, and further information in the downloads option further down this page.
Returning Nippers 2022/23 Season
If you were a registered Nipper for the 2021/22 season you will have received a renewal email to the address you registered with originally (usually the Parent member). Please pay fees for your Nipper/s and parent/guardian at the same time. Once payment has been completed your Nipper will be enrolled.
Please note that if your child would like to participate in a different age group to their official category we need a new form and declaration to be completed each season. Forms can be obtained from the office on office@ncslsc.com

U10 - U13: Sunday 30 October 9.15 am
U6 - U9: Sunday 13 November 8.30 am

How To Join NCSLSC Nippers
To join NCSLSC Nippers you will need to first create an SLS profile and register as a North Cottesloe member through our portal. Please see below for how to guides.
Membership Fees
Nipper Membership 5-13 years of age $160
Junior Membership 14-17 years of age $190
All nipper members (5-13 years) must have a parent / guardian as a member of North Cottesloe SLSC.
Parent membership is $80 which gives access to all areas of the Club except the gym.

Parents
Parents are required to stay on the beach at all times and be prepared to assist both in and out of the water. All parents are also required to sign up to help with BBQ, set up and pack down rosters.
We ask that you complete 2 duties per family per season.

Nipper Proficiency Swim
16th October 8am - 10am, Scotch College pool
All nippers from U8 and above will be required to complete a proficiency swim.
Only financial members will be able to complete their proficiency swim but Members will be able to pay on the day.
If your child cannot make the distance, they can still participate in nippers but will always need a parent in the water with them. If they cannot make the date they will need to complete a proficiency swim on the first day of nippers.
Member Protection
We take our members safety seriously and as a result require every adult (18+), who does not have a child registered as a member, to have a current working with children check.
