Beach Wheelchair
Available for loan at North Cottesloe Beach
The North Cottesloe SLSC has a beach wheelchair available for loan by members of the public. The aim is to give all people access to the joy of visiting the beach.
The wheel chair at North Cottesloe is available to hire all year round, however, this is dependent on availability of North Cottesloe Surf Life Saving Club staff. If sufficient notice of the booking is provided, generally requests can be accommodated.
To book, please read the important safety information provided on the reverse of the booking form. The completed booking form can then be submitted by email to office@ncslsc.com. It is recommended that you book 5 business days in advance to allow time to process the booking.
Please note, the maximum safe weight of a person using the beach wheelchair is 120kgs. Users are responsible for their own safety. It is recommended that two carers come with users for any assistance that may be required.
The beach wheelchair can be collected from and returned to the North Cottesloe Surf Life Saving Club at 151 Marine Parade, Cottesloe during office hours (8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday) or at other times by prior arrangement.
